I’m Nefele Talavera, a fifth-year architecture student from Miami currently studying at the University of Miami. From a young age, I have been immersed in art and creative work, which naturally led me toward architecture. After participating in the University’s Summer Architecture Program in high school, I discovered a
passion for designing spaces that balance function and meaning.

More recently, I have developed a strong interest in emerging technologies and their impact on the built environment. Over the past few years, I have worked with the University’s XR Lab, which explores architecture and spatial design through virtual reality. I also had the opportunity to take a course focused on concrete 3D printing, and I am eager to continue exploring new technologies and methodologies that expand the possibilities of architectural practice.
